Scope of Supply

uShaka Marine World requires wristbands for guest access control and identification within the park’s paying areas. Different colours are used for specific zones and are scanned for entry and exit verification. The wristbands are required in six colours: White, Lime, Mustard, Orange (with “not for resale” wording), Pink, and Blue. All must feature the three-colour uShaka Marine World logo.

Technical Specifications

The wristbands must meet strict durability and safety standards:

  • Material: Water-resistant thermal paper with HiTac adhesive on reverse, capable of withstanding chlorinated and sea water
  • Size: 24.8mm x 276mm die-cut with 45mm adhesive width
  • Printing: 3 colours on the front with sequential numbering; 2 colours on the reverse including a fire mark
  • Features: Tear-resistant, water-resistant, tamper cuts to prevent transfer, pH-neutral glue
  • Packaging: Stack form with 500 joined bands per roll, perforated between each band
  • Numbering: Sequential numbering per colour, with traceability and tracking reports per box
  • Compatibility: Must be printable through a thermal Boca printing machine
