Scope of Supply and Geographic Restriction
The successful service provider will be responsible for supplying specific consumable goods essential for inshore linefish operations . The required items are:
- 1 x Ethanol 75% – 50 litres
- 1 x Ethanol 99% – 50 litres
- 5 x Mini Dissection Kits
Crucially, this tender is strictly ring-fenced for local economic development; only suppliers based in Cape Town or surrounding areas are eligible to quote.
Mandatory Supplier Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, prospective bidders must be registered on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) with their tax matters in order. Bidders must submit a formal quotation on their official company letterhead, detailing the brand, model, and country of origin for all offered goods.
Mandatory Submission Requirements
Prospective bidders must ensure compliance with strict administrative criteria to be considered. Quotations must be submitted on the official SBD forms and include:
- Valid Tax Compliance Status (SARS PIN or TCS Certificate)
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) Registration – Bidders must be registered and provide an updated CSD report
- Completed SBD Forms – SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, and SBD 6.1 must be duly completed and signed
- Company Registration Documents – CIPC registration and certified ID copies for directors/shareholders
- Letter of Authority – Authorising the signatory to commit the company
