South Cape TVET College has issued Request for Quotation RFQ BB 35/2026 for the supply and delivery of specialized clothing for students enrolled in the Safety in Society Programme at its Oudtshoorn Campus.

Programme Overview and Objectives

This procurement initiative ensures that learners are appropriately attired for practical training. The Safety in Society Programme requires students to participate in drill and physical training exercises, necessitating standardized, durable, and professional attire.

Scope of Supply and Curriculum Alignment

In alignment with the NC(V) curriculum requirements, the appointed supplier will provide:

  • 21 Track suit sets (assorted sizes)
  • 21 P.T. Shorts
  • 21 T-Shirts
  • Custom embroidery of the Safety in Society, DHET, and SCC logos on jackets and t-shirts.

Required Documents for Submission

Bidders must submit the following documents. Failure to include any may result in disqualification [doc]:

  • Copy of valid Tax PIN certificate
  • Latest Municipal Account or Valid Lease Agreement
  • Copy of CIPC company registration documents (listing all members with percentages for CCs)
  • Copies of all share certificates (with original stamp) for companies
  • Shareholding breakdown per race, gender, and percentage shareholding
  • Declaration of Interest (SBD 4)
  • B-BBEE rating certificate issued by a SANAS Accredited B-BBEE verification agency
  • Completed SBD 8 (Declaration of Bidder’s Past Supply Chain Management Practices)
  • Completed SBD 9 (Certificate of Independent Bid Determination)
  • Completed Price Schedule with detailed breakdown
