The Department of Employment and Labour, via the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), invites proposals for a comprehensive 36-month deep cleaning and hygiene services contract (UIF2/26/27). This strategic procurement ensures optimal sanitation, health, and hygiene standards across UIF corporate facilities in Pretoria, supporting a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
Scope of Services and Facilities
The appointed service provider will render deep cleaning and supply all necessary consumable items for 101 toilet cubicles, 76 hand basins, and 28 urinal systems. The contract includes the servicing of wall-mounted dispensers and replacement of urinal mats. Services will initially operate at Absa Towers, 230 Lillian Ngoyi Street, before transitioning to the 94 WF Nkomo Building upon completion of its interior fit-out.
Mandatory Functionality Criteria
Proposals undergo strict functionality evaluation, allocating points for:
- A detailed project plan outlining execution, monitoring, and contingency planning.
- Track record submission of four reference letters for similar projects completed within the last seven years.
- Staffing requirements, including a supervisor with three years of experience and nine personnel with at least two years of experience.
