The State Security Agency (SSA) invites qualified service providers to submit quotations for gardening and vegetation management services at its Limpopo Provincial Office and Provincial House in Polokwane. This five-year contract covers comprehensive grounds maintenance, including lawn care, hedge trimming, weed control, and general landscape upkeep at the Tsikoni Building facility.
Key Submission Requirements
- Valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration with MAAA number
- Completed MBD forms (1, 4, 6.1, 7.2, 8, and 9)
- Tax Compliance Status PIN or valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- BBBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs
- Certified ID copies of directors submitted by 04 June 2026 for site access
Compulsory Briefing Details
Attendance at the compulsory briefing session is mandatory for bid validity. The session will be held at Tsikoni Building, 19 Pierre Street, Bendor, Polokwane. Service providers must submit certified ID copies before close of business on 04 June 2026 to facilitate premises access. Bid specifications and technical requirements will be discussed during this session.
Evaluation and Preference Points
Quotations will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system in terms of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act. Eighty points are allocated for price competitiveness, while twenty points are awarded for specific goals including BBBEE status level, women-owned enterprises, youth participation, and disability ownership.
