The City of Johannesburg – Metro Bus invites qualified service providers to submit bids for waste management services under Tender Reference TSD31-2025/2026. This open-tender opportunity supports sustainable operations across Metro Bus facilities in Gauteng.
Scope of Services
The appointed provider will deliver comprehensive waste management solutions on an “as and when required” basis for 36 months. Services include:
- Collection, removal, and lawful disposal of general and recyclable waste
- Provision of appropriate bins and containment systems
- Compliance with municipal and national environmental regulations
- Regular reporting on waste volumes and disposal certifications
Eligibility Requirements
Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), hold valid tax clearance, and demonstrate proven experience in commercial or municipal waste management. Preference points apply under the 80/20 PPPFA system for B-BBEE compliance.
