Product Specifications and Requirements
Bidders must supply and install blinds according to the following specifications:
- Various sizes including 4 x 90cm x 97cm, 1 x 165cm x 158cm, 1 x 192cm x 94cm, and additional custom dimensions
- Professional installation at Victoria Street, Prieska, 8940
- Execution within 7 days after award of bid
- All materials must be new, durable, and suitable for commercial office environments
Eligibility and Submission Criteria
Prospective bidders must demonstrate:
- Valid registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Completed MBD forms attached to the quotation
- Valid BBBEE certificate or original sworn affidavit for EME/QSE entities
- Proof of no undisputed municipal accounts overdue by more than 30 days
- Capacity to deliver and install within the stipulated 7-day timeframe
Pricing and Evaluation Framework
Quotations will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system:
- 80 points allocated for price competitiveness (firm, VAT-inclusive pricing required)
- 20 points allocated for specific goals, including youth ownership (4 points) and other BBBEE criteria
- All prices must include delivery and installation costs to Prieska municipal offices

Quotations may be deposited in a sealed, clearly marked envelope in the municipal tender box or emailed to ryno@siyathemba.gov.za before the closing deadline. Late, incomplete, or non-compliant submissions will not be considered. Siyathemba Municipality reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and is not bound to appoint the lowest-priced bidder. Successful appointment is subject to verification of all documentation and execution of a formal purchase order. Quotations must remain valid for 90 days from the closing date.
