Bidders must supply A4 photocopy papers meeting the following specifications:

  • Typek brand or equivalent quality standard
  • 5 reams per box, with 10 boxes required per delivery cycle
  • Firm pricing inclusive of VAT, valid for 90 days from closing date
  • Delivery to NRCS Cape Town office within agreed lead times
  • All items must be new, unused, and sourced from reputable manufacturers

Eligibility and Submission Criteria

Prospective bidders must demonstrate:

  • Valid registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  • Completed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 8, SBD 9)
  • Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN printout
  • B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit for preference point allocation
  • Proof of supply capability and relevant reference letters from similar contracts

Pricing and Evaluation Framework

Quotations will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system:

  • 80 points allocated for price competitiveness (firm, VAT-inclusive pricing required)
  • 20 points allocated for specific goals: locality within Western Cape and black ownership criteria
  • All prices must include delivery costs to the designated Cape Town office location
