Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP) invites qualified software suppliers to submit quotations for the supply of Adobe Acrobat Pro licenses. This Request for Quotation (GEP RFQ-14-2026) targets established technology providers capable of delivering genuine, licensed software solutions that support GEP’s digital documentation and compliance management requirements.
Product Specifications and Requirements
Bidders must supply genuine Adobe Acrobat Pro software with the following specifications:
- Latest stable version compatible with Windows and macOS environments
- Valid perpetual or subscription-based licensing as specified in the RFQ
- Full feature set including PDF creation, editing, e-signatures, and security controls
- Technical support and update access for the duration of the licence term
- Proof of authorisation from Adobe or an accredited reseller
Eligibility and Submission Criteria
Prospective bidders must demonstrate:
- Valid registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Proof of authorisation to supply Adobe products or partnership status
- Completed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1)
- Valid tax compliance status and B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit
- Company registration documents and director identification copies
Pricing and Evaluation Framework
Quotations will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system:
- 80 points allocated for price competitiveness
- 20 points allocated for specific goals, including SMME status and black ownership criteria
- All prices must be firm, quoted in South African Rand, and inclusive of VAT, delivery, and installation costs to Umnotho House, Marshalltown, Johannesburg

Submission Guidelines Quotations must be emailed to scm@gep.co.za with the RFQ reference number GEP RFQ-14-2026 in the subject line. All submissions must include completed SBD forms, pricing schedules, and supporting documentation in PDF format. Late, incomplete, or non-compliant submissions will not be considered.
Gauteng Enterprise Propeller reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and is not bound to appoint the lowest-priced bidder. Successful appointment is subject to verification of all documentation, proof of software authenticity, and compliance with GEP supply chain management policies. Quotations must remain valid for 90 days from the closing date.
