  • Mobile toilet units with two cubicles (clearly marked male and female), each serving up to 30 users per day
  • Each unit must include:
    • Lockable doors with “in-use” indicators
    • Smart flush systems
    • Hand basins with running water
    • Soap dispensers, toilet paper dispensers (4 rolls daily), and waste bins
    • SHE-compliant signage and branding

Services include:

  • Transportation to and from site
  • Weekly cleaning, restocking, and servicing
  • Safe disposal of waste at approved municipal sites, with weekly/monthly reports signed by both provider and Department
  • On-site staff wearing branded uniforms for clear identification

All operations must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, National Environmental Management Act, Waste Act, and relevant municipal bylaws.

This tender will be evaluated under the 80/20 Preferential Procurement System:

  • 80 points for competitively priced, compliant offers
  • 20 points for specific empowerment goals:
    • Black ownership
    • Women ownership
    • Youth ownership
    • Disability ownership
    • Local enterprise status (Limpopo-based)

Preference claims must be supported by certified documentation. Unverified claims receive zero points.

The Department reserves the right to conduct site inspections, request unit demonstrations, and award contracts to multiple service providers based on geographic coverage and capacity.
