BOCMA Seeks 1000 Branded Bottled Water Supplier

The Breede-Gouritz Catchment Management Agency (BOCMA) has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the supply and delivery of branded bottled water to support its public outreach, exhibitions, and stakeholder engagement activities. The order includes 500 units each of 500ml still and sparkling water, fully branded with the BOCMA logo, for delivery to Worcester, Western Cape. Submissions must be emailed by 10:00 on Thursday, 19 February 2026, to nmafanya@bocma.co.za.

This is a short-term, high-visibility opportunity for certified bottled water suppliers with branding and event logistics experience.

Scope of Supply: Branded Hydration for Public Engagement

The successful service provider will supply:

  • 500 units of 500ml still bottled water
  • 500 units of 500ml sparkling bottled water
  • All bottles must feature full-colour labels with the official BOCMA logo and organisational information
  • Water must be purified through a minimum 6-stage purification process
  • Final product must comply with SANBWA (South African National Bottled Water Association) standards

Deliveries must be made to Cnr Mountain Mill & East Lake Road, Worcester, 6850, in a single consignment prior to the agency’s upcoming events.

Mandatory Submission Requirements

To be considered, quotations must include:

  • A formal quote on company letterhead with firm, VAT-inclusive pricing
  • Valid SARS Tax Compliance PIN or clearance certificate
  • Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  • B-BBEE Certificate or sworn affidavit (Level 1–8 or EME/QSE)
  • Company profile and evidence of SANBWA compliance or equivalent certification
  • Confirmation that the quoted design has been approved or is open to BOCMA’s final approval

Quotations must be submitted exclusively via email—no hard copies, faxes, or postal submissions will be accepted.

Evaluation Criteria: 80/20 Preferential Procurement System

Quotations will be scored using the 80/20 system:

  • 80 points: Price (lowest compliant quote = 80; others scored proportionally)
  • 20 points: Specific Goals, including Black, women, youth, disability, and military veteran ownership

Only complete, responsive, and compliant submissions will be evaluated.

  • Closing Date & Time: 19 February 2026 at 10:00
  • Submission Method: Email only to nmafanya@bocma.co.za
  • Subject Line: Must include “Branded Bottled Water RFQ – BOCMA”
  • Late or incomplete submissions will be disqualified

Bid validity must be 30 days from the closing date.
