Who Can Apply: Eligibility Criteria for Fashion, Accessories & Crafts
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be between the ages of 25 and 45 and hold a matric certificate.
- Be South African citizens residing in KwaZulu-Natal.
- Demonstrate strong entrepreneurial skills and a clear passion for design.
- Submit a creative portfolio showcasing products in clothing, footwear, accessories, or crafts intended for retail.
- Be computer literate, with reliable Wi-Fi access for virtual sessions.
- Have personal transportation or accommodation for any in-person workshops (no transport or lodging provided).
- Commit to 90% participation to receive certification.
- Not have previously participated in a similar EDTEA programme.
