Introducing the Bindzu Youth Fund — a national business development initiative designed to help youth-owned businesses grow, thrive, and compete on a national level.

What Is the Bindzu Youth Fund?
The Bindzu Youth Fund is more than just funding — it’s a comprehensive business development journey. Selected youth-owned businesses will not only compete for a share of R3 million in grant funding, but also gain access to training, expert mentorship, and strategic business support.
This initiative reflects the MRP Foundation’s long-term commitment to youth empowerment and economic transformation in South Africa.
What Support Is Offered?
The programme includes:
- Online & bootcamp-style training tailored to small and growing businesses
- Expert mentorship & coaching to help entrepreneurs overcome challenges and identify opportunities
- Competitive exposure at provincial and national levels
- Grant funding for selected businesses — up to a portion of R3 million
Who Should Apply?
Your business must meet the following criteria:
- At least 51% youth-owned (ages 18–34)
- At least 51% black-owned (as per B-BBEE definition)
- Registered and operational for at least 12 months
- Based anywhere in South Africa
- Annual turnover under R5 million
- Committed to long-term growth and development
