The Road Accident Fund (RAF) has issued Request for Quotation PR10116994 for the once-off deep cleaning of carpets at its Johannesburg Customer Experience Centre. This targeted procurement invites capable cleaning specialists to restore and maintain the facility’s extensive flooring.
Scope of Works and Facility Specifications
The appointed service provider will execute a comprehensive deep cleaning and stain removal process across a massive 5,046-square-meter carpeted area at the Parktown offices. The mandate requires delivering safe, effective, and high-quality cleaning services to ensure a pristine environment for staff and claimants.
Mandatory Experience and Functionality Criteria
To qualify, bidders must demonstrate proven expertise in the cleaning industry. Proposals will be evaluated on documented experience in commercial, industrial, domestic, or building cleaning services. Valid proof of past performance must be submitted by the closing date to pass the functionality stage.

Failure to submit the following will result in disqualification:
- Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing for Office Cleaning Services, Cleaning Services, Domestic Cleaning Services, Industrial Cleaning Services, Window and Industrial Cleaning Services, Building Cleaning Services, or Commercial and Industrial Cleaning
- Completed and signed SBD 4 – Bidder’s Disclosure
- Completed and signed SBD 6.1 – Preference Points Claim Form in terms of PPR 2022
- Completed Cost Breakdown Table with pricing for 5046 square meters
- CSD Registration Number (RAF will only conduct business with CSD registered suppliers)
Specific Goals and Preference Points
The RAF’s preferential procurement system rewards targeted economic participation. Preference points are allocated for enterprises that are at least 51% owned by black women, as well as entities owned by persons living with disabilities. Bidders must submit valid CSD reports or medical certificates to claim these points.
