Required Furniture Items and Quantities
Bidders must quote for the following items:
- Office Chairs: 21 units
- Stackable Chairs: 100 units
- Boardroom Chairs: 36 units
- Executive Chair: 1 unit
- Secretary Chairs: 2 units Detailed specifications and pictures are included in the tender document.
Mandatory Submission Requirements
Quotations must be submitted on company letterhead and neatly ring-bound, indexed, and page-numbered. Required documentation includes:
- Certified copy of company registration (CK)
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS PIN
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) report with certified ID copies
- Municipal rates clearance or lease agreement with current bill
- Completed MBD forms (signed originals)
- SANAS-approved B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
Preferential Procurement Points System
Evaluation follows the 80/20 preference point system. Specific goals (20 points) include:
- 50% Black-owned enterprise: 5 points
- 50% Women-owned enterprise: 5 points
- 50% Youth-owned (<35 years): 5 points
- Locality within CENTLEC supply area: 5 points Proof of ownership and CIPC/CSD verification required.
Delivery and Contract Conditions
Successful bidders must deliver within 30 days of official order. Prices must exclude VAT but include all delivery charges. Quotations remain valid for 30 days. CENTLEC reserves rights to appoint second-lowest bidder, request samples, and reject non-compliant submissions. No quotations accepted from persons in service of the state.
