Selection Criteria for Scalable Ventures
- Operational Maturity: Must have 3-year existence, legal registration, and a minimum of 3 full-time employees

- Innovation & Tech: Evidence of product or operational innovation, using technology to remove constraints
- Social Responsibility: Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion and creating sustainable work opportunities for youth
- Scalability: Business model demonstrating potential for exponential growth and broader regional impact
4-Stage Progression to Investor Access
The Golden Circle selects 30 founders via diagnostics and masterclasses, until 5 finalists are selected for mentorship and investor retreats.
Stage 1 – Diagnostic: Assessment for all applicants
Stage 2 – Masterclass: Growth sessions tailored for 30 leaders
Stage 3 – Mentorship: Deep-dive individual training
Stage 4 – Retreat: Investor access in Cape Town
Stage 5 – Prize: R80,000 awarded to the 2026 winner

- Masterclass Series (June – July): Capacity building – Selection of top 5
- Accelerated Mentorship (August – October): Intensive one-on-one optimisation
