The National Lotteries Commission (NLC) is inviting qualified catering service providers to submit price quotations for an Education and Awareness Workshop in Ganyesa, North West Province. This short-term opportunity supports the NLC’s mandate to regulate South African lotteries and administer the National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund.

The workshop will take place at Tlou Le Tau Traditional Office and Community Hall, Ganyesa, North West, 8613. Catering services must accommodate delegates with pre-packaged lunches meeting specified menu requirements, including starch options, proteins, salads, vegetables, bottled water, and soft drinks. Providers must supply their own cutlery, crockery, and manage waste removal post-service.
Key Submission Requirements

- Provide a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Include Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration details
- Ensure tax compliance with SARS via PIN or TCS certificate
- Complete all Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1)
- Quote must be on company letterhead with all applicable taxes included
Evaluation Criteria
Quotations will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system per the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022. Points are allocated for price (80 points) and specific goals (20 points), including black ownership, women ownership, youth participation, and disability inclusion. Administrative compliance and mandatory documentation are prerequisites for evaluation.
