Agrément South Africa (ASA), a Schedule 3A public entity operating under the Minister of Public Works, invites qualified service providers to submit quotations for internet connection, firewall maintenance, and active monitoring of two fibre lines at its Hatfield offices for a period of 36 months.
This RFQ requires two independent 100 Mbps fibre lines from different Internet Service Providers with load balancing for high availability and redundancy.
Scope of Services Required
The successful bidder will supply, install, and maintain two dedicated 100 Mbps fibre lines with load balancing capabilities. Services must include enterprise-grade firewall configuration, proactive network monitoring, and ongoing technical support for a 36-month contract period.
Internet Connectivity:
- Support and maintenance of two fibre optic internet links, each minimum 100 Mbps
- Configuration and maintenance of load balancing across both links
- Mandatory: The two fibre links must be provisioned from different ISPs
- 99.9% uptime guarantee per month (monthly and quarterly reports required)
- Statically assigned public IP addresses
Firewall Services:
- Maintenance, configuration, and support of enterprise firewall
- Continuous monitoring of security events
- Security updates, patches, and firmware upgrades
- Incident response for security breaches or network threats
- Stateful inspection, intrusion prevention/detection, malware protection, application control
Active Monitoring and Support:
- 24/7/365 proactive monitoring of internet links and firewall
- Fault detection, logging, escalation, and resolution
- Preventive maintenance to minimise downtime
- Regular performance and availability reports
Service Level Requirements
Internet Connectivity:
- 99.9% availability per month (uplink and downlink)
- Diverse routes and/or different upstream providers
- Latency, jitter, and packet loss within enterprise standards
Maintenance and Support:
- Planned maintenance communicated at least five business days in advance
- Prior approval from ASA for any changes impacting service availability
- Remote and on-site support where required
- Up-to-date documentation of network topology and configurations
Mandatory Requirements (Disqualification if not submitted)
- National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) report
- Completed and signed SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest)
- Completed and signed SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form)
- Signed General Conditions of Contract
- Three (3) reference letters from public and/or private institutions demonstrating satisfactory delivery of similar services
- Completed price schedule

Quotations must be submitted via email to procurement@agrement.co.za by Friday, 24 April 2026 at 11:00. Bidders should ensure all documentation is complete, VAT-inclusive where applicable, and signed by an authorised representative.
