Scope of Salon Products and Delivery Requirements

- New, unexpired, and sealed
- Branded and compliant with SANS standards
- Delivered directly to designated youth salons in Kabokweni, Mbombela
The quoted price must be firm, inclusive of VAT, delivery, and handling, and remain valid for 30 days from the closing date.
Mandatory Documentation and Compliance Criteria
To be considered responsive, bidders must submit the following:
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN
- Full Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration report (summary reports will be rejected)
- Company registration certificate (CK)
- Completed MBD 1 (Invitation to Bid) and MBD 4 (Declaration of Interest)
- B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Pricing schedule with itemised brand, model, country of origin, and compliance confirmation

Evaluation Methodology and Preference Points
The RFQ will be evaluated under the 80/20 Preferential Procurement System:
- 80 points for price competitiveness
- 20 points for specific empowerment goals, including Black, women, youth, and disability ownership
All preference claims must be substantiated with certified documentation. Persons in the service of the state are ineligible to bid.
