Google for Startups has officially opened applications for its 2025 Accelerator Programme in South Africa. This three-month hybrid initiative is designed for Seed to Series A technology startups with strong growth potential and a focus on leveraging cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).
What the Programme Offers
Selected startups will gain access to:
- Up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits.
- Tailored mentorship from Google engineers and industry leaders.
- Technical workshops on product development and scaling.
- Expert sessions covering customer acquisition, leadership, and product design.
- Entry into the global Google for Startups alumni network.
Eligibility Criteria
The programme is open to tech startups headquartered in South Africa that meet the following requirements:
- Seed to Series A stage, with evidence of traction.
- Developing scalable solutions with significant market potential.
- Actively integrating—or planning to integrate—AI/ML technologies.
- Demonstrated commitment of core technical team members (e.g. CTOs) to participate fully in the programme.
