South African businesses passionate about sustainability and environmental innovation are invited to apply for the ECOMONDO 2025 Hosted Buyers Programme, presented in partnership with the Italian-South African Chamber of Trade and Industries (Italcham).
Following the overwhelming success of the 2023 and 2024 missions, Italcham is proud to once again recruit 8 forward-thinking South African companies to attend Europe’s premier event for the green, blue, and circular economy, held in Rimini, Italy.

Hosted Buyers Programme Benefits
If selected, each company will receive the following support for one delegate:
- 3-night accommodation (4-star hotel, B&B treatment)
- Up to €300 cash reimbursement for flight costs
- Transfers between Bologna Airport and the hotel
- Daily transport to and from the expo venue
- Free entrance pass to ECOMONDO
- Complimentary lunch at the exhibition centre
Your Commitment as a Buyer
To qualify for the full benefits, participants must:
- Pre-schedule at least 10 B2B meetings with exhibitors via the “My Agenda by IEG” platform
- Attend the scheduled meetings on 6 November 2025
- Submit a signed appointment diary
- Complete a short post-event survey
- Return to the expo on 7 November 2025 to explore additional opportunities
