Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be registered with SARS and CIPC.
- Have a valid B-BBEE Certificate.
- Be 100% South African owned.
- Operate within Polokwane Municipality jurisdiction.
- Be in operation for at least 12 months.
- Be available to pitch on 16 November 2026.
- Operate in waste, energy, logistics, technology, or manufacturing (excluding agro-processing and clothing/textile).
- Not be contesting in other municipal competitions.
- Not have previously won or benefited from a municipal competition.
Mandatory Documents Required
Applicants must submit the following documents together with their detailed business plan:
- Proof of registration with SARS.
- Proof of registration with CIPC.
- Valid B-BBEE Certificate.
- Proof of address within Polokwane Municipality jurisdiction.
- Records showing a minimum of 12 months in operation.
- Detailed business plan with supporting documents.
Submission Process
Interested entrepreneurs must submit a detailed business plan with all supporting documents to the Itoseng Entrepreneurial Centre at the corner of Blaauberg and Floorspar Street (Polokwane Bus Rank). Submissions will be accepted from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 16:00. The closing date for submission of proposals is 30 October 2026 at 16:00. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
