The Banking Sector Education and Training Authority (BANKSETA) invites suitably qualified Microsoft licensing resellers to submit bids for the provision and support of Microsoft 365 E5 licensing. The contract will run for a period of three (3) years.
BANKSETA Seeks Microsoft 365 E5 Licensing Provider
BANKSETA is a Sector Education and Training Authority for the banking and alternate banking industry. It is a statutory body established through the Skills Development Act of 1998. BANKSETA intends to appoint a Microsoft Licensing Reseller located within South Africa to provide an all-in-one enterprise solution addressing cybersecurity, network monitoring, compliance, identity management, communication, collaboration, data loss prevention, insider risk and endpoint management.
Scope of Work and Licensing Requirements
The successful bidder will provide:
- 180 x Microsoft 365 E5 licenses (Exchange Online, Office Package, Teams Premium, SharePoint Online)
- 6 x Microsoft Teams Phone Resource Accounts
- 5 x Visio Plan 02 licenses
- 15 x Planner and Project Plan 03 licenses
- Support for implementation, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft 365 E5
- Support hours to be utilized as and when required
- Ability to increase, add or decrease licenses as and when required
Mandatory Requirements for Bidders
Bidders must submit the following mandatory documents:
- Fully completed proposal and pricing schedule (Annexure A)
- Completed and signed SBD 1, SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 forms
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) report
- Signed Special Conditions of Contract
- Proof of being a Microsoft M365 Licensing Reseller or Licensed Service Provider
- Reference letters from previous clients on official letterheads
- CV of Account Manager/Person Assigned to the project
Functional Evaluation Criteria and Scoring
Bidders will be evaluated on functionality with a minimum qualifying score of 65 points out of 100. The criteria include:
- Track record of the bidder demonstrated through reference letters from organs of state (60 points)
- Experience of Account Manager/Person Assigned to the project (40 points)
Non-Compulsory Briefing Session Details
A non-compulsory virtual briefing session will be held on 22 September 2026 at 11:00. Bidders who wish to attend should indicate in writing within 5 days after the advertising date by emailing jackiek@bankseta.org.za and copying scm@bankseta.org.za.
How to Submit Your Bid
Submit your completed bid document in sealed envelopes marked “Original”, “Copy” and “Pricing Schedule” to the Submission Box at the Reception Area, BANKSETA Offices, Eco Origin Office Park, Block C2, 349 Witch-Hazel Avenue, Eco Park Estate, Highveld, Centurion, 0144, before 15 October 2026 at 11:00. Late submissions will not be accepted.
