Comprehensive Scope of Work

The service provider will deliver a full spectrum of health and wellness services to approximately 2,207 employees and their immediate families nationwide . Key responsibilities include:

  • Professional Support Line: 24/7/365 multilingual counselling services via phone, text, or WhatsApp, staffed by registered psychologists, social workers, and therapists
  • Counselling Services: Up to eight face-to-face therapeutic sessions per issue, near the employee’s home or workplace
  • Trauma Support: On-site de-briefing within 48 hours of a critical incident, followed by individual therapeutic trauma counselling
  • Health and Wellness Management: Disease and disability management, health risk assessments, and comprehensive HIV and AIDS programmes
  • Empowerment Solutions: Financial wellness workshops, legal advice, and support for family-related challenges

Mandatory Requirements

Bidders must meet strict eligibility criteria:

  • Professional Registration: Valid HPCSA or SACSSP registration for all therapists and professionals
  • Professional Affiliations: Good standing with HPCSA and/or EAPA-SA
  • National Footprint: Demonstrable presence and capacity to deliver services in all nine provinces
  • Experience: Minimum of five years in practice with references from organisations with at least 1,000 employees

Evaluation and Preference Points

Bids will be assessed in four stages. Only bidders scoring a minimum of 70 out of 100 points in the functionality evaluation will proceed to the final price and specific goals evaluation stage. The final stage uses the 80/20 preference point system.

Submission Requirements

Bidders must submit two physical copies (one original and one copy) for technical and financial proposals, along with PDF soft copies on a clearly marked memory stick . All submissions must be hand-delivered to the RTMC Centurion office by the closing date .
