The Limpopo Economic Development Agency (LEDA) has issued an open tender (LEDA/SEC/2026/27-4A) for the appointment of service providers to render comprehensive security services across nine distinct operational areas in Limpopo. This strategic 36-month contract targets qualified, PSIRA-registered security firms to safeguard LEDA’s diverse property portfolio.
Scope of Works and Operational Areas
The mandate covers a wide geographical footprint, including Lebowakgomo, Polokwane and Seshego, Thohoyandou, Mopani, Agri-Business sites, Business Support offices, Giyani, Training Centres, and Mkhuhlu. The successful bidder must deploy trained Grade C security personnel, with mandatory armed guards required for specific high-risk night shifts at locations like Stevens Lumber and Mashashane Hatchery.
Mandatory Compliance and Requirements
Proposals will be evaluated using an 80/20 preference point system, rewarding local economic participation and specific goals. Bidders must operate a well-established 24-hour security control room. Additionally, providers bidding for Polokwane, Thohoyandou, and Mopani areas must provide verifiable proof of access to functional quadbikes for effective site patrols.

Strict Physical Submission Protocols
