The Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) invites qualified service providers to submit quotations for the provision of comprehensive occupational hygiene services. This three-year contract aims to maintain a safe, healthy, and hygienic environment at the LTA’s Head Office in Polokwane and its Regional Office in Louis Trichardt (Makhado).
Scope of Works and Service Delivery
The appointed service provider will be responsible for a wide range of occupational hygiene services at two LTA offices. The scope includes the regular supply and maintenance of consumables, equipment servicing, and pest control:
- Hygiene Consumables: Monthly supply of toilet rolls, hand foam soap, paper towels, and seat sanitizer refills.
- Pest Control & Fumigation: Monthly fumigation services and maintenance of bait stations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regular refills and battery replacements for air fresheners, auto janitors, and sanitary bins.
- Specialized Services: On-request eradication of pests (bees, wasps) and snake repellent treatment.
Mandatory Requirements and Evaluation
Bids will be evaluated in three phases. Phase 1 checks administrative compliance. Bidders must meet the following mandatory requirements to avoid disqualification:
- Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
- Completed and signed bid document.
- Proof of affiliation to industry associations (e.g., NCCA, BEECA, SAPCA).
- Certificate or proof of transportation of hazardous waste.
Strict Physical Submission Protocols
Quotations must be printed on official company letterhead and deposited directly into the designated LTA quotation box. Emailed, faxed, or late submissions will be summarily disqualified. The bid validity period is 120 days from the closing date.
