Dawid Kruiper Municipality Invites Concrete Palisade Fencing Bids

The Dawid Kruiper Local Municipality has issued an open tender (TN037/2026) for the provision of all labour, materials, fittings, and equipment for the installation of concrete palisade fencing. This strategic infrastructure upgrade targets qualified construction firms to enhance perimeter security at various municipal sites, including the Kalksloot and Station Cemeteries in the Northern Cape.

Scope of Works and Site Locations

The appointed contractor will be expected to:

  • Supply all labour required for the project.
  • Supply all construction materials, fittings and equipment.
  • Install concrete palisade fencing at various municipal sites.
  • Complete the works in accordance with municipal specifications and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety and construction regulations.

Mandatory Compliance and Preference Points

Bidders must possess a valid Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) grading of 2 SQ or higher. The evaluation will utilize the 80/20 preference point system. Twenty points are allocated for specific goals, heavily favoring enterprises located within the Dawid Kruiper Municipal boundaries. Bidders must submit a recent municipal account or a valid lease agreement as proof of locality.

Prospective bidders should submit all mandatory documentation, including:

  • Completed and signed tender document.
  • Company registration documents.
  • Valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration.
  • Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (Tax PIN).
  • CIDB registration Grade 2 SQ or higher.
  • B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, where applicable.
  • Pricing schedule and all completed returnable forms.
  • Any additional supporting documents required in the tender document.

Failure to submit mandatory documentation may result in disqualification.

Submission Protocols and Deadlines

Sealed bid proposals must be clearly endorsed with the tender number and title. They must be deposited in the official municipal tender box before the strict deadline. Late, mailed, or electronic submissions will not be considered under any circumstances.
