Great North Transport (SOC) Ltd has issued an open tender (GNT/TYRES/06/2026-2028) for the appointment of a panel of service providers for the supply and delivery of tyres. This strategic 36-month contract aims to support the operational readiness and safety of the provincial public passenger transport fleet across Limpopo.
Scope of Supply and Fleet Maintenance
The appointed panel will supply and deliver a comprehensive range of tyres to designated GNT depots. Consistent availability of high-quality tyres is critical for minimizing vehicle downtime, ensuring commuter safety, and maintaining the reliability of the provincial bus network.
Mandatory Compliance and Evaluation
Bidders must demonstrate valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration, tax compliance, and proven experience in supplying tyres to public transport or logistics fleets to qualify for evaluation.
Compulsory Briefing Session
Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid clarification meeting is strictly enforced. Prospective bidders must attend in person to understand the specific tyre specifications, delivery schedules, and contractual obligations.
