The Mr Price Foundation is thrilled to announce that applications for the Bindzu Youth Fund are officially open once again. This is a national youth entrepreneurship development programme designed to support existing majority youth-owned businesses from previously disadvantaged backgrounds in South Africa. This programme follows a competition model, providing young entrepreneurs with a comprehensive package of business development support and seed capital to build sustainable enterprises.
Who Should Apply
This programme is open to businesses that meet the following criteria:
- Youth-owned (at least 51% ownership by South Africans aged 18-34)
- Have been operational for at least 12 months
- Ready to grow and committed to development
- 51% or more black-owned (as defined by the BBBEEA)
- Located anywhere in South Africa
- Turning over less than R5 million
