Ndlambe Local Municipality invites qualified legal practitioners to submit bids for the provision of accredited legal services (Tender T32/2526). This 36-month contract aims to establish a panel of specialized providers to support the municipality’s legal operations in the Eastern Cape.

The appointed panel will provide expert services across three primary streams:

  • Conveyancing: Property transfers, servitudes, and township registrations.
  • Labour Law: Advisory services and representation in dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Litigation and General Advisory: Statutory interpretation, civil litigation, and formal negotiations.

Mandatory Professional Requirements

Bidders must have head offices within the Eastern Cape Province. Mandatory compliance includes:

  • A valid Fidelity Fund Certificate for all directors or principals.
  • Proof of Professional Indemnity Insurance, detailing the extent of cover.
  • Proof of admission as an attorney, conveyancer, or notary public.

Evaluation and Locality Preference

Proposals will undergo a functionality evaluation assessing the firm’s track record in local government matters. The tender utilizes a locality preference system, awarding specific goal points to enterprises physically based within the Ndlambe Local Municipality jurisdiction.
