The land is described as the remainder of Portion 7 of Farm Bergvliet 288-LS, located within the Makhado municipal area. This is an open tender process, and the municipality is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.

Mandatory Submission Requirements (Disqualifiable)
Bids that are late, incomplete, unsigned, submitted in pencil, by telegraph, facsimile, or e-mail will not be evaluated. The following documents must be attached:
- Company registration documents (CK)
- Certified copy/copies of company owner(s) ID book(s) – certification not older than 3 months
- Proof of municipal rates payment (not owing >3 months) OR formal lease agreement for rental premises OR letter from traditional authority (non-ratable areas) – for both entity and directors
- Copy of Central Supplier Database (CSD) report (full report)
Note: All service providers doing business with Makhado Municipality must be registered on CSD. A copy of a certified copy will not be accepted.

Sealed tenders must be properly deposited into the tender box at Makhado Local Municipality Civic Centre, 83 Krogh Street, Makhado before the closing date and time. The bid box is located at the Civic Centre.
