The Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure has issued Request for Quotation RFQ110/26/27, seeking an accredited service provider to deliver specialized Technical Report Writing training. This capacity-building initiative targets 70 built environment professionals, ensuring organizational compliance and enhancing the quality of infrastructure planning and project management reporting across the province.

Training Objectives and Background

The Department seeks to expose its technical professionals and candidates, as part of personal development and organisational compliance, to a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits-linked course on Technical Report Writing. The targeted employees are responsible for day-to-day infrastructure planning and project management services for all provincial clients, while candidates are on a route to registration with their respective councils. The Department has observed through peer review sessions that some officials struggle with packaging clear technical reports for clients and preparing for council interviews.

The training must be delivered centrally in Polokwane for two groups, over a period of two days in July 2026. Bidders must submit a proposal including:

  • Introduction and background to the company (attach CSD document and Company Profile as Annexures 1 & 2) – No Joint Ventures permitted
  • Programme outline and methodology (training delivery format, training aids, simulations)
