Xhariep District Municipality has issued Request for Quotation RFQ-EQUIPMENT, inviting qualified suppliers to provide essential IT equipment to support the Rural Roads and Assets Management System (RRAMS). This strategic procurement initiative aims to enhance the municipality’s capacity for project execution, implementation, and monitoring of rural infrastructure development across the Free State.

Project Overview and RRAMS Context

The RRAMS framework is critical for managing rural roads and assets effectively. To ensure seamless coordination and reporting, the municipality requires reliable, high-performance office equipment. This procurement directly supports the IDP and RRAMS Coordinator Secretariat in delivering accurate project oversight.

Scope of Supply and Specifications

The successful bidder will be responsible for the supply and delivery of the following items:

  • One (1) high-definition digital projector for presentations and stakeholder engagements.
  • Two (2) standard office printers for daily administrative and reporting requirements. All equipment must meet the technical specifications outlined in the official RRAMS specification document and be delivered to the municipal headquarters in Trompsburg.

Mandatory Compliance and Documentation

Prospective suppliers must adhere to strict public procurement regulations. Bidders are required to submit fully completed Standard Bidding Documents, including the MBD 4 Declaration of Interest and MBD 6.1 Preference Points Claim form. Valid tax compliance and Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration are mandatory for consideration.
