South African National Parks (SANParks) has issued Request for Quotation RFQ 29079/GGHNP/2026-27, inviting qualified service providers to deliver integrated pest control and hygiene services at Golden Gate Highlands National Park in the Free State Province.
Tender Overview and Scope
This 12-month contract covers comprehensive pest management and facility hygiene maintenance at the park’s Clarens location. The appointment aims to support SANParks’ conservation mandate while ensuring safe, sanitary conditions for staff, visitors, and wildlife habitats.
Service Requirements and Deliverables
Successful bidders must provide:
- Routine pest inspection, treatment, and prevention programmes
- Hygiene services aligned with environmental and occupational health standards
- Compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and relevant regulations
- Monthly reporting and incident documentation
- Emergency response capabilities for urgent pest-related issues
Eligibility and Compliance Criteria
Bidders must submit:
- Completed SBD1, SBD4, and SBD6.1 forms
- Valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration
- Tax compliance status verification
- B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit
- Proof of relevant experience in pest control or facility management
Submission Guidelines and Deadlines
All proposals must be emailed to GoldenGate_SCM@sanparks.org by 16:00 on Tuesday, 12 May 2026. Late submissions will not be considered. No compulsory briefing session is scheduled for this RFQ.

Evaluation and Award Process
Quotations will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system per the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2022. SANParks reserves the right to negotiate terms and is not bound to accept the lowest quotation.
