Scope of Transport Services Required
The appointed provider will deliver safe, reliable learner transport including:
- Collection of all learners from respective schools with arrival at Nozizwe Primary School by 07:30
- Return transport collecting learners between 14:00 and 15:00 for safe delivery to originating schools
- Deployment of roadworthy vehicles compliant with South African passenger transport regulations
- Licensed drivers holding valid Professional Driving Permits (PrDP)
- Valid operating permits covering all specified collection and drop-off routes
Mandatory Eligibility and Compliance
- Geographic restriction: Only service providers based in the Eastern Cape may submit proposals
- All vehicles must pass roadworthiness inspections and carry current safety certifications
- Drivers must present valid PrDP documentation and clean driving records
- Bidders must submit proof of specific goals for preferential procurement scoring under the 80/20 system
Submission Guidelines and Process
Quotations must be submitted exclusively via the National Treasury e-Tender Portal. Bidders should include firm pricing inclusive of VAT, completed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD forms), valid tax compliance, CSD registration, and BBBEE certification. Late or non-compliant submissions will not be considered.
