Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd invites qualified textile manufacturers and suppliers to submit bids for the supply and delivery of security corporate and combat uniforms. This Request for Bid (E2703CXMWPERE) targets established apparel providers capable of delivering durable, branded uniforms for Megawatt Park, Eskom Academy of Learning, Grootvallei Nature Reserve, and the Eskom Research & Innovation Centre on an “as and when required” basis over a three-year contract period.
Uniform Specifications and Delivery Requirements
The appointed service provider will supply comprehensive security apparel including corporate security uniforms, combat tactical wear, boots, headgear, and duty equipment. All items must meet Eskom’s technical specifications, SABS quality standards, and branding guidelines with delivery to multiple Eskom facilities nationally within agreed lead times.
Eligibility and Mandatory Compliance Criteria
Bidders must demonstrate valid CSD registration, proven experience in institutional uniform supply contracts, completed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 4, SBD 6.2), valid tax compliance status, B-BBEE verification, and signed Eskom Supplier Integrity Pact and SHE rules acknowledgement.
Non-Compulsory Clarification Meeting Details
A virtual clarification session will be held for bidder enquiries on Tuesday, 21 April 2026 at 10:00 via Microsoft Teams. Attendance is optional but recommended for technical clarity.
Submission Guidelines and Evaluation Framework
Proposals must be submitted electronically via Eskom’s e-Tendering portal by 10:00 on Friday, 08 May 2026. Evaluation follows the 80/20 preference point system with functionality assessment preceding price evaluation. All pricing must be firm, quoted in South African Rand, and inclusive of VAT.
