Border Management Authority (BMA) invites qualified catering service providers to submit quotations for the provision of catering services for a forestry training session. This Request for Quotation (C044A2704RFQ00003) targets established catering companies capable of delivering professional food and beverage services for 30 officials at OR Tambo International Airport on 23 April 2026.

Menu Specifications and Requirements

The appointed service provider will supply comprehensive catering for a full-day training session, including:

  • Breakfast: Tea, coffee, rooibos, fresh juice, milk, sugar/sweeteners, fruit platter, assorted muffins, and sandwiches with varied fillings on white and brown bread
  • Lunch: Rice, pap, gravy, beef stew, grilled chicken, grilled fish, butternut, spinach, and green salad
  • Beverages: Assorted cold drinks (330ml) and 100% fruit juice (330ml)
  • Service requirements: Provision of cutlery, crockery, and serviettes for all attendees

Eligibility and Submission Criteria

Bidders must demonstrate:

  • Valid registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  • Proven experience in corporate or institutional catering services
  • Completed Standard Bidding Documents and pricing schedules
  • Valid tax compliance status and B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit
  • Capacity to deliver services at OR Tambo International Airport with appropriate security clearance

Pricing and Evaluation Framework

Quotations will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system:

  • 80 points allocated for price competitiveness (firm, VAT-inclusive pricing required)
  • 20 points allocated for specific goals, including SMME status and black ownership criteria
  • All prices must include delivery, setup, service, and cleanup costs at the venue
