The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation Limited (Necsa) invites accredited training providers to submit bids for a strategic four-year panel appointment. This Request for Bid (FIN-SCM-TEN-0226) seeks qualified partners to deliver occupational qualifications training on an as-and-when-needed basis, supporting Necsa’s commitment to technical skills development within South Africa’s nuclear energy sector.

Comprehensive Scope of Occupational Qualifications

The appointed service providers will deliver training at their own premises across fourteen specialised categories. Bidders must indicate the specific field(s) of specialisation for which they are bidding:

  • Trades: Toolmaker, Mechanical Fitter, Fitter and Turner, Metal Machinist, Electrical, Instrumentation, Millwright, Boilermaker, and Welder.
  • ARPL Programmes (1 Year): Mechanical Fitter, Fitter and Turner, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Welder.
    Training will be provided to Necsa learners, and orders will be allocated via RFQs to panel members based on price and preference points scoring.

Eligibility and Evaluation

Bidders must demonstrate QCTO accreditation for relevant trades and provide evidence of training track records. Evaluation follows an 80/20 preference point system, with functionality scoring (minimum 80%) determining advancement to price and B-BBEE assessment.
