Air Chefs Seeks Food Photography and Videography Services

Air Chefs SOC Ltd invites qualified multimedia service providers to submit quotations for the supply of professional food photography and videography services under RFQ-003-2026-003. This 24-month contract, awarded on an as-and-when-required basis, supports Air Chefs’ marketing, communications, and business development activities across its airline catering, lounge catering, corporate canteen, and events divisions.

  • Professional food photography for menu items, promotional materials, and digital platforms
  • High-quality videography services for corporate presentations, social media content, and marketing campaigns
  • Coverage across multiple service lines: airline catering, lounge catering, corporate canteens, and events
  • Flexible engagement model with services rendered on an as-and-when-required basis over 24 months

Submission Guidelines and Deadlines

Quotations close strictly at 16:00 on Friday, 27 March 2026. All submissions must be emailed electronically to portiangema@airchefs.co.za with the RFQ reference number clearly indicated. NB: Email attachments are limited to 2MB; please separate documents when emailing. Late, faxed, or hand-delivered quotations will not be considered.

Evaluation Criteria and Preference Points

Quotations are evaluated using an 80/20 preference point system:

  • Price: 80 points
  • Specific Goals: 20 points (Race/Black ownership 10pts, Women 5pts, Disability 2pts, Youth 3pts)

Mandatory Compliance Documentation

  • Valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration with MAAA number
  • SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or certificate
  • Completed and signed SBD 4 Declaration of Interest form
  • Certified copy of director/owner ID document
  • Certified CIPC company registration documents

Technical Requirements and Deliverables

  • Portfolio demonstrating proven experience in food photography and videography
  • Equipment specifications ensuring high-resolution, professional-grade outputs
  • Turnaround time commitments aligned with Air Chefs’ operational requirements
  • Post-production capabilities including editing, colour grading, and format optimisation
