Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) invites qualified IT service providers to submit bids for the provision of comprehensive ICT managed and maintenance services. This strategic three-year contract (Tender LNW18/25/26) aims to enhance the stability, security, and overall performance of LNW’s critical IT infrastructure, ensuring sustainable service delivery across its Limpopo operations.
Technical Scope and Infrastructure Management
The appointed provider will be responsible for managing both on-premises and cloud server environments, including vital Microsoft SQL Server database platforms. Core responsibilities encompass continuous system monitoring, applying essential patches and security updates, maintaining robust backups and disaster recovery protocols, and responding to technical incidents strictly within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). Regular performance reporting to LNW management is also mandatory.
Stage 1: Administrative Compliance Documents
- Completed SBD1
- Completed SBD 6.1 forms
- Valid SARS Tax PIN
- Company registration documents / CIPC (CK)
- Valid B-BBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit
Stage 2: Mandatory Requirements (Disqualification if not submitted)
- Joint Venture Agreement (if applicable) clearly indicating lead partner and percentage split (totalling 100%)
- Full completion and signing of SBD 4 and SBD 3.1
- Proof of CSD registration (all partners for JV)
- Proof of Company or Director Municipal Rates not older than three months, signed lease agreement, or stamped letter from tribal authority
- Certified valid ID copies of company directors (not older than three months)
- All bid documents completed in full in BLACK ink – no tampering with correction fluid or sticky papers
- A valid ISO 27001 certificate
Submission Guidelines and Bid Validity
Completed bid documents must be submitted in strict accordance with LNW’s Supply Chain Management policies. To accommodate the comprehensive evaluation process, bidders must ensure their financial offers remain valid for 150 days from the official closing date. Late, incomplete, or non-compliant submissions will be immediately disqualified.
