- Proof that the bidder’s municipal business account (or any director’s municipal account) is not in arrears for more than three months, or a letter from traditional authority indicating rates and taxes are not payable
Preference Points and Specific Goals
Quotations will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system. Points for specific goals are allocated as follows:
- HDI (Historically Disadvantaged Individual): 10 points
- Locality: 4 points (4 for district, 2 for Limpopo, 1 for South Africa)
- Youth: 2 points
- Women: 2 points
- Disability: 2 points (medical certificate required)
All service providers must pre-number and initial their tender documents before submission. No bids will be accepted from persons in the service of the state.
