Suppliers must also comply with Halaal certification requirements where applicable.

- 80/20 Preference Point Scoring:
- 80 points for competitively priced, compliant offers
- 20 points for specific empowerment goals:
- Black ownership
- Women ownership
- Youth ownership
- Disability ownership
Preference claims must be supported by certified documentation. Unverified claims receive zero points.
The hospital reserves the right to conduct random vehicle inspections and site visits to assess storage conditions, hygiene protocols, and operational readiness.
