- Disposables for hip and knee replacement surgeries
- Angiography procedure kits for different floors
- Procedures such as C-section, interventional radiology, pacemaker, ophthalmic, TUR, plastic, intravitreal, and laparoscopic procedures
Key Requirements
Bidders must provide customised disposable procedure kits that are high-quality, sterile, and safe for medical use, compliant with relevant health and safety standards . Bidders are required to submit samples of all products offered for clinical evaluation. Each sample must be individually packaged and labelled with the bidder’s name, bid number, and item number.
Evaluation Process
The evaluation follows a phased approach: Compliance with bid requirements, Compliance with bid specifications, Sample Evaluation, and Preferential procurement evaluation/Price . The 80/20 Points System applies to bids up to R50,000,000, with the lowest acceptable tender used to determine the preference point system.
