South Cape TVET College has published a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the appointment of a service provider to supply and deliver occupational programme equipment for its Hessequa Campus. Tender Overview
The objective is to appoint a service provider to supply and deliver comprehensive catering and cooking equipment for the Hessequa Campus. Bids must be submitted by 11 September 2026 at 11:00 AM. Scope of Work
The successful bidder will provide a comprehensive range of kitchen equipment, including:
- A 10-tray convection/combi oven with stand, specifically designed for high-volume baking and cooking.
- A Tabletop deep fryer for versatile frying applications.
- Various baking utensils and tools, including solid aluminum trays, stainless steel bowls, spatulas, and measuring spoons.
- Full baking sets, including a rolling pin, mixing bowls, and piping bags.
- Additional essentials such as silicone oven mitts, digital thermometers, and white cutting boards.
All equipment must be energy-efficient, environmentally sustainable, and comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Key Requirements
The service provider must ensure timely delivery and professional installation at the Hessequa Campus. Installation includes assessing site readiness, integrating with utilities (electrical, gas, and water), and conducting operational testing. The bidder is required to provide a minimum 2-year warranty on large equipment and a 12-month warranty on small equipment, along with ongoing technical support and maintenance.

Bidders must submit a company profile and/or evidence of relevant experience, product brochures, catalogues, and technical specifications, warranty information, and details of installation, technical support, and after-sales service arrangements.
