The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) has published a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the disassembling, assembling, transportation, and storage of office furniture and equipment. The tender, designated RFQ2026/067-06124/NYDA, seeks a qualified service provider to manage the relocation and temporary storage of assets from its Tshwane office.
Tender Overview
The primary objective is to procure integrated logistical and handling services to support office restructuring or maintenance operations . Bids must be submitted via email to Quotations2@nyda.gov.za by 31 August 2026 at 17:00. No briefing session is scheduled for this tender, and suppliers not registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) will not be considered.
Scope of Work
The appointed service provider will be responsible for the complete handling of office assets located at the NYDA Tshwane Office, Middestad Mall, Pretoria CBD . Key tasks include:
- Disassembling and reassembling a specified inventory of office assets.
- Transporting all items securely using appropriate vehicles and handling equipment.
- Providing secure, supervised storage for a fixed three-month period (1 November 2026 to 31 January 2027) .
- Managing and tracking a substantial inventory including 94 chairs, 16 desks, 15 filing cabinets, 77 tables, 4 benches/sofas, and 150 boxes of training materials and crockery.
- Implementing a documented chain-of-custody and inventory tracking system throughout the process .
Key Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate trained technicians experienced in the systematic dismantling and reconfiguration of modular office furniture, logistics coordinators capable of route planning and load securing, and warehouse management expertise . The successful bidder is explicitly forbidden from subcontracting to businesses controlled by individuals currently employed by the state .
Mandatory Documentation
Bidders must submit the following mandatory documents:
- Proof of good standing with SARS (verified through CSD or SARS e-filing PIN).
- Completed and signed SBD1 โ Invitation to Bid.
- Completed and signed SBD4 โ Bidders Disclosure.
- Completed and signed pricing schedule using the template provided.
- SBD6.1 โ Preference Points Claim Form and valid B-BBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit (to claim preference points).
Evaluation and Submission
The RFQ will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system, with 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals. NYDA reserves the right to award the bid in full or in part. No service may be rendered without a purchase order.
