The Limpopo Department of Health has re-advertised an open tender (HEDP012/25/26 RE-ADVERT) for the supply and delivery of general office stationery across its provincial facilities for a period of thirty-six (36) months. This strategic procurement aims to ensure the continuous and efficient replenishment of administrative stores.

Scope of Works and Requirements

The appointed service provider will supply a wide range of general office stationery items to all health facilities in Limpopo. The detailed specifications are provided in the attached pricing schedule. The scope includes:

  • Writing instruments and colouring materials
  • USB storage devices and office equipment
  • Cutting and measuring tools, pins, bands, and fasteners
  • Binding and filing equipment
  • Books, pads, markers, and adhesives
  • Paper products and envelopes
  • ID accessories, batteries, and electrical accessories
  • Storage and filing boxes

Mandatory Compliance

Bidders must submit the following documents with their bids:

  • Completed and signed SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, and SBD 6.1 forms
  • Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN
  • CSD registration number and report
  • CIPC company registration documents
  • B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit
  • Completed pricing schedule (Excel format)
  • Declaration of Interest and Certificate of Independent Bid Determination

Evaluation Criteria

The bid will be evaluated using a two-phase process:

  • Phase 1: Administrative Compliance – Bidders must submit all required documentation, including a valid Tax Compliance PIN, CSD registration, CIPC certificate, and completed SBD forms.
  • Phase 2: Price and Specific Goals – The 90/10 preference point system applies, with 90 points for price and 10 points for specific goals (women ownership) as per the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 .

Strict Submission Protocols

Sealed bid documents must be clearly marked with the bid number and deposited in the official tender box at the Department of Health, 18 College Avenue, Polokwane, 0699. Late, emailed, or faxed submissions will be summarily disqualified to maintain a fair, secure, and transparent procurement process.
