Eskom Holdings SOC Limited has issued open tender E3332CXMWP for the supply and delivery of fresh meat for a three-year period at the Eskom Academy of Learning (EAL) in Midrand, Gauteng. This strategic national procurement targets qualified food distribution enterprises to support the academy’s operational and nutritional requirements.
Scope of Works and Service Delivery
The successful bidder will supply a wide range of Grade A fresh meat products on an as-and-when-required basis . Products include:
- Grade A Beef (various cuts and processed products)
- Grade A Beef Biltong
- Grade A Chicken (whole, portions, processed sausages)
- Grade A Lamb (cuts, cubes, sausages)
- Grade A Pork (cuts, sausages, processed meats)
- Combinations of Pork, Beef, and Chicken products
All meat must meet food safety and hygiene standards, with proper packaging, vacuum sealing, and accurate labeling.
Compulsory Virtual Briefing Session
Attendance at the pre-bid clarification meeting is strictly mandatory. Bidders must join the designated Microsoft Teams session to receive critical project insights and procedural guidance. Failure to attend and register will result in automatic disqualification.
Mandatory Compliance and Quality Standards
Proposals must demonstrate robust quality management and strict adherence to Eskom’s Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) requirements. Bidders must also complete the Declaration of Local Content (SBD 6.2) and provide all necessary technical evaluation criteria documentation.
Strict Electronic Submission Protocols
In alignment with Eskom’s digital procurement policies, all bid responses must be submitted exclusively via the National Treasury’s e-Tender portal. Late, physical, or faxed submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
