Scope of Work
The event requires catering for 300 attendees on 21 August 2026 . The service provider must supply:
- Fruits (banana, orange, apple) in packages at 10:00 am
- 500ml bottled water
- Lunch at 13:00 pm, including braai, rolls/pap, two salads, quarter leg chicken, and red meat (no pork)
- 330ml Cappy juice
Key Requirements and Preferences
Preference will be offered to bidders who reside within the Moqhaka Local Municipality area and hold a valid BBBEE status level certificate or sworn affidavit . The 80/20 preference point system applies, with 10 points allocated for locality and 10 points for BBBEE status level. Bidders must keep their prices fixed for 120 days and demonstrate past experience by attaching at least 3 verifiable reference letters .
Mandatory Documentation
Bidders must submit several key documents:
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS PIN
- Company registration documents (CIPC)
- Certified identity documents of all directors
- Municipal rates and taxes statement (not older than 3 months)
- Proof of CSD (Central Supplier Database) registration
- Valid B-BBEE Certificate or sworn affidavit
Submission Details
The fully completed tender document must be placed in a sealed envelope and deposited in the bid box at Moqhaka Local Municipality (Magasyn Building), Cnr 11th & 12th Way, Kroonstad. Faxed, emailed, or late submissions will not be accepted. Tender documents are available for a non-refundable printing fee of R150.00.
