Scope of the Opportunity

Legal Aid South Africa requires a service provider to perform general building maintenance services at various offices across Gauteng on an as-needed basis.

The contract may include maintenance services such as:

Mandatory Admin Compliance Requirements (Phase 1)

CIDB Registration:

  • For Joint Ventures, consolidated CIDB grading must be 4GB or higher

COIDA Letter of Good Standing:

  • Valid Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act letter
  • Must cover Building Maintenance or Construction or Renovations

Joint Venture Agreement:

  • Signed copy required for Joint Venture bidders

Contractors All Risk and Public Liability Insurance:

  • Minimum cover of R5,000,000
  • Covers injury to staff and third parties, and property damage

Compulsory Site Briefing Attendance:

  • Certificate of attendance required

Attendance at the briefing session is compulsory.
