Scope of the Opportunity

The department intends to appoint a panel of suitably qualified EMS road ambulance service providers to deliver emergency medical transport services when required. Prospective bidders should have the necessary statutory registrations, qualified emergency care personnel, appropriately equipped ambulances and the operational capability to provide reliable services that comply with South African healthcare and emergency medical standards.

Service providers are advised to study the technical specifications and contractual requirements contained in the official tender documents before preparing their submissions.

Compulsory Briefing Session

Attendance at the briefing session is compulsory for all prospective bidders.

  • Full CSD registration report (not older than 14 days before bid closure)
  • Certified CIPC/CIPRO Company registration documents
  • Certified Identity copies of company directors
  • Latest two years Annual Financial Statements
  • Letters of reference or Award letter from previous clients (must be on official letterhead with office contact details)

Additional Requirements:

  • Joint venture agreement (if applicable) outlining terms and conditions (parties must individually comply with all requirements)
  • Evidence of previous work completed with details of organization, nature of work, value, and year completed
  • Bidders must initial each page of the document
